Kelli Valade is Chief Operating Officer for Chili’s® Grill & Bar. In this role, she oversees operations for more than 800 company-owned Chili’s restaurants nationwide.
Kelli has been with Brinker International since 1996, holding various positions, including Director of Human Resources for On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina®, Vice President for Emerging Brands & Corporate Human Resources, and her most recent role as Senior Vice President of Chili’s and On The Border PeopleWorks and Brinker Shared Services.
Prior to joining Brinker, Kelli worked for the Specialty Concepts Division of Carlson Restaurants Worldwide and as a Training and Recruiting Consultant for Dallas-based American Service Management Resources.
Active in several industry organizations, she holds a seat on the founders board of the Multi-Cultural Food Service Hospitality Alliance and sits on the Advisory Board for People Report. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Women’s Foodservice Forum.
Kelli holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Binghamton University in upstate New York and an MBA from Syracuse University. She, along with her husband Don, and two children, Morgan and Christian, live in Plano, Texas. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking Italian food, watching her children play basketball and traveling.
